In this talk, I will draw on my experience as a software engineer in the age of generative AI to explain why human knowledge, skills, and taste still matter. I will also share my approach to keeping up with the rapid technology developments occurring in my field, how that can be applied to other fields, and why it's important to practice using these tools as a part of your lifelong education.
