Taking Night Sky Photographs with Affordable Smart Telescopes; anyone can do it!​ By Dr. Paul E. However, hundreds of deep-sky objects can be readily photographed despite light pollution. Until recently, such imaging systems were very expensive and required high technical expertise. But within the last few years, Smart-telescopes have dramatically changed the hobby of Astrophotography, enabling average smartphone users, to capture stunning images of galaxies and colorful nebula. This new class of easy-to-use and affordable telescopes for amateur photographers will be introduced. Many images taken in Tokyo and Yokohama will be shown to demonstrate capabilities.
